Our workshops are primarily held in the summer when both teachers and students are out of school. However, our staff and Apache Cultural Experts do meet regularly throughout the school year as our project is an extensive undertaking.

Curriculum Development Workshops are being offered to Apache Language teaching staff from Grades Pre-Kindergarten through Second Grade throughout the June and July of 2020.

Become an Apache Language Activist
Help our Apache Language Experts develop materials and resources to be used in the Apache Language classrooms in both the San Carlos Early Childhood Program and at Rice Elementary School by working in the Apache Language Lab!
Experience with Technology and Familiarity with Apache Language and Culture is preferred but not required. This workshop is ongoing throughout the summer and is open to all applicants ages 18+.

Apache Language Curriculum Development Opportunities were ongoing throughout the 2018-2019 School Year for the Apache Language Teaching Staff from both the Early Childhood Program and the San Carlos Unified School District
San Carlos Apache Language Development Workshop Summer 2018 was held in partnership with the San Carlos Early Childhood Program and the San Carlos Apache Tribe Education Department to continue developing the Apache Language Curriculum & Instructional Materials for Pre-Kindergarten Classes in the San Carlos Community.
The Apache Language Summer Institute of 2018 was held in partnership with professors from Arizona State University to develop Native Language Linguistical Pedagogy and increase conceptual understanding of Immersion Language Instruction
